I am 13 and a friend owns a restaurant. I would like to work there to earn money for a saloon. Does anyone know if it is possible to work there yet or not?

If you did work there then it would enjoy to be off the books since the allowed age is 14 or 15 (with many restrictions). You can take the living but the gov finds out then they could fine your friend alot of money. Here is a link that may know how to explain in better detail.

Why not linger until you are 15 then you can get a unadulterated job that you may even be able to seize work experience credit through your school.. Do it the right way and be protected as okay...working for friends and family is not always a honourable idea, both parties tend to lift advantage of the friend or family entity.
