My friend wants me to try and find out some information for him as he has be suspended. Hopefully, someone here might know some answers :) Can I be suspended over the phone without being told why? What is the best strategy for starting a collective grievance? Our different manager is being plain harsh to a _lot_ of people, it's like she's on some crazy power trip. If an employer requests to give me a discipline, are they allowed to tell me I cannot bring a specific work colleague? I hope you guys can answer my question, thank you :) P.S. I am in the UK

Last week 45 minutes before the end of a shift at work, I have to go home ill, I asked my boss if I could jump because I was ill, I be told I was "full of s**t" and that I was not alowed to donate I continued working for 5 minutes, until I felt to ill to convey on. When I was leaving I be told I had to finish the last 45 minutes of my shift, I said I be unwell and was not asking permission to depart from. The next day my fiance call my work to say I was not at your best and would not be in work that night, she be told that I had to call within personally otherwise it counts as me not showing up for work She told my boss that I was to sick to call and that I would be getting a self cert from for my 2 days illness, my boss said that the company, somerfeild, supermarket does not adopt them and that I would need a doctors not. I am now worried that I will frontage a disciplinary action for leaving work beside out permission and not calling in sick. Does anyone know where on earth I stand in regards to the canon with all this?

UK singular please. would a conditional discharge show up on CRB check?
My partner was silly in 2004 she be caught and punished (rightly so) she was given a conditional discharge and a fine, she paid the fine and the have not comitted an offence since this was surrounded by 2004 and the conditonal discharge was for 2 years. she now have the chance of a really good living and a promising career however this requires a CRB check and she is worried that this might affect her chances for this postion Thanks for your answers
