i work 4 ,12 hour shifts next i enjoy 4 days rotten. i am individual rewarded for working 3 shifts. is this endorsed?
If you are in the US, you must be paid for the 48 hours than you worked. Did you ask your payroll department or your boss what happen? Sounds like maybe somebody purely made a mistake (in which case they need to fix it) or that the concluding day was cog of the next pay term and you'll be paid for it in your subsequent check.
Other countries might have different laws, I don't know.
Before deciding what course of handling you can take, you need to check your Contract of Employment to see how your wages are worked out. You enjoy a right to be paid for all the hours you hold worked, however if you are only paid for 3 out of 4 shifts and you convey on doing this without complaint, it may be seen as accepting this as an implied residence within your Contract of Employment.
Find out why you are not being compensated in full (if this is the case) and repost your question if you still enjoy concerns.
i think it's a rip off, i would want compensate for 48 hrs worked or leave.
4 days, 12 hr shifts beside 4 days off. Thats 8 days. Hmm.
Your work days may be split between 2 different pay period. For example, if your paid work week is Mon through Sun and you are working Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed., then you would simply see 32 hours in 1 pay time.
Do the math for the entire year.it works out.ask HR to explain it.4 days off ... that's sweet..
Its a continental shift and some weeks you will be only working three shifts its weird how its calculated but it does work out right within the end.
Ask a member of HR to explain it for you.
