Most people study music for the love of it, here are little opportunities for musicians in the actual world. What I suggest is further your education in music if you're really honest. And you could become a music professor at a college later or you could rent a studio to teaching music instruments of your specialty.
If you don't want to do that, you could play instruments and sing at a local inn where they provide this type of services. And you may also consider getting positions at music software companies if possible, but I feel most of those positions are reserved for engineers for the most part.

My nephew is a music major. His focus is conducting. My brother within law also majored in music. He studious to play a number of different instruments and now teach at grade and high school. My conductor nephew is a band leader at a large school and also teaches. I surmise a lucrative area to get into would to be a music director at a church. The MD at our church make a real good earnings! it seems that the most common profession for a music key is teaching.
