These types of people "hang" themselves sooner or subsequently. Bide your time. . .

When they can't explain how they came up with their brilliant solution to the problem or can't repeat their rite with a new problem, etc. they will look foolish and will be not sufficiently expert to fool the boss(es) any longer.
